    Dear Friend;

thanks alot for your appreciated support but i reached the solution of that probleme after along investigations:

1- you must first participate using any operator Sim card in Blackberry internet service.

2- this service ia a paid one daily or monthly.

3- after participating please, restart the device by unplug the device battery for more that 10sec.

4- restart the device and wait for a minute you will receive a message from you supported operator.

5- open the message then back to the desktop.

6- wait a few mints then download the BB Maps.

7- you could find the app. icon and start up the app. successfully.

  • Hi Haitham,

I too had gone through the same problem while testing one of my application on Blackberry 9000 Bold device. I was not able to reach app icon after installation. But the application details were seen in under "Applications menu" available in "Options". I just removed the battery and again restarted the device. The app icon was visible under "Downloads" folder.

I think same is the case with you.

Just try following hopefully it will help you.

    Open "Options"
    Select "Thrid Party applications"
search for ur application. If it is installed successfully. You will sure get the app details.

    Else

    Check in following :-
    1. Open Options.

    2. Select Device.

    3. Select Application Management.

    4. It will display list of all applications installed on device.

Even if you are not able to view your application details it means either the application was not installed successfully. Try again installing it and check.
